Hi! I’m Brittany! I am mommy to one sweet little boy and wife to my very loving and supportive husband, who has made my photography dreams possible! I have had a deep-rooted passion for photography for most of my life. However, I began my career as a neonatal ICU nurse where I first found my love of caring for and interacting with newborns. I learned so much from this position and am truly grateful for my time as a nurse. Photography found me again in 2012 when I started my own business and for several years I worked as both a nurse and photographer. It wasn’t until 2016 when I had my son, Maverick, that I decided to leave nursing and pursue photography full time. Having been deeply invested in so many mothers and their babies as a NICU nurse and upon becoming a mother myself, I finally came to understand just how beautiful new life is and what a gift motherhood is. It made me realize just how precious each fleeting moment of childhood can be and how every memory is worth treasuring. I am inspired by these moments and I believe that photography is a way to awaken the feelings in your heart and to tell your story for generations to come.

Mikaela is an avid athlete, traveler and animal lover! Her roots are in Puerto Rico but she and I actually graduated from the same high school! Now a UT student, Mikaela is studying marketing. She is the glue to all the tiny parts that keep our studio running smoothly and every image that is delivered to our clients, she is the final hands that touch each heirloom art piece.
