Six-Month Milestone Session in Tampa Studio | Baby Emery

Can I let you in on a little secret? Sometimes I think six-month milestone sessions are even better than newborn sessions.

Now, that’s not to say skip out on newborn photos because they are so important! But, they are different. Newborn sessions are sweet and are there to document your growing family. Milestone sessions are meant to document your growing baby and some of their “firsts,” and that six-month milestone session is just the beginning!

Around this time your baby has met and may even be in the midst of some of those first big milestones…rolling over, starting to sit up, laughing, interacting…and may even have some of those squishy baby rolls! Most babies at this age haven’t quite hit the “stranger danger” phase and are more than willing to show me their adorable little personalities. I know as a momma this is one of my favorite stages and one I never want to forget. Be sure to contact us so you don’t have to either!

As important it is to document this milestone for our babies, it’s so important that you are part of it too. If there’s one thing I hear from moms over and over it’s that they feel like they are always taking photos of their husband and children, but rarely the other way around. So one thing I am always sure to do for my clients- give momma a ton of images of just her and her babies. Sitting, standing, in a chair, close up, and of course both sides (in case she has a preference!). Basically…all of the options and love for my mommas!

Baby Emery’s Six-Month Milestone Session

It’s been so much fun getting to know Tampa Pro LPGA Golfer Brittany Lincicome and her sweet baby girl, Emery. She’s part of our first-year collective and it feels like we were just photographing her newborn session, and here we are at her six-month milestone session!

Emery came into our Tampa photography studio the happiest little girl. She has the most beautiful blue eyes and a smile that will just melt your heart. We were able to document her sitting, playing with her little toes (something I’ll never grow tired of seeing!), and snuggles with momma and daddy.

Just like the last six months flew by, so did our session. It’s not every day that you go to work and find yourself sad that the day is over or look forward to what is to come six months down the road. I do. And let me tell you, it’s an honor and a privilege I’ll never take for granted. Thank you Lincicome family (and all of my clients), for trusting me to document your most precious memories and milestones!
