Kiermaier Family Maternity Session for Baby #2 Under The Oaks
It’s true. There is only one first. You’ll only ever experience your first pregnancy once. And I have to be honest, you don’t realize just how special it is until it’s passed. The pregnancies that follow will feel like a blur as you chase little ones around. BUT, there’s also something really special about your first becoming a big brother! I’m so excited to share this big brother and Kiermaier family maternity session with you.
This past year has been a big year for the Kiermaier’s. Karter turned one, they announced they were expecting baby #2, and then Kevin, center-fielder for the Tampa Bay Rays, went on to play in the world series!
Baby Krew is set to make his arrival just prior to the next baseball season kicking off and I cannot wait to meet him! I had the honor of photographing Karter’s first year and looking forward to doing the same for his baby brother!
For the Kiermaier’s first maternity session, we did several different locations throughout Tampa. With having Karter and wanting to keep things simple for their second maternity session, we opted for one location- under my favorite oak! Karter loved the tree, riding on Dad’s shoulders, and was so sweet with his momma. I’m not kidding when I say we had the BEST time.
Maternity Session with Baby #2
I know how easy it can be to forgo maternity sessions after your first. Life can feel a little busy and chaotic and the focus may be on newborn photos. And while I would probably agree those are most important, I would encourage you to not let this season of life pass you by without documenting it too.
Why?
From experience, each pregnancy goes faster and faster. With each, I have taken less time for myself and the baby I am carrying. Not because I don’t want to, it’s just harder with two other children running around! So even if it’s just for a day, slow down and take it all in. Allow my team to pamper you, relax, and celebrate this little life that you’re growing.
It’s also so important to take in this time with your family. Soon your family dynamic will change. Your child(ren) will take on new roles. The baby will no longer be the baby. He/she will be a big brother/sister and that’s always worth celebrating.
