As a Tampa FL studio newborn photographer, I’ve had the honor of photographing hundreds of families, many of which are families welcoming their first baby. And I just have to tell you, they are some of my absolute favorite sessions to photograph. Sure, Mom and Dad are absolutely exhausted and they are in the trenches of the unknowns. But…that’s where I thrive and why I love what I do so much.

It’s also why I love having a studio right here in Tampa. It’s not only great for taking portraits, but a place where parents can relax and be pampered. Hair and makeup is here when you arrive. There’s a wardrobe full of dresses for Mom and shirts for Dad- you just need to bring your own pants. And most importantly, I’ve spent thousands of hours caring for and/or taking portraits of newborns. I know how to settle your baby, photograph them safely, and ensure that your session is full of sweet memories rather than stress.

The Yarbrough Family

Recently I had the honor of photographing the Yarbrough family as they welcomed their first baby girl, sweet Harper. She was an absolute angel- sleeping for most of her session, waking occasionally, and even sharing a few smiles for the camera.

Dad is a baseball player for the Tampa Bay Rays, so of course we had to get a photo of his baby girl with her jersey and a baseball. Having so many professional sports teams in the area and working with several athletes, these are always some of my favorite photos to take for them. It’s always a really special moment for them and a photo I know they will cherish forever.

This sweet girls newborn session is the first of many sessions we will be photographing this year. I cannot wait to watch her grow- next up is her three month milestone session. We’ll be adding to her first year album and wall gallery throughout her first year!
