The R Family – a sunset maternity photo session at Cypress Beach Park

With subjects as beautiful as mine, who have children as beautiful as their son Grayson, it is nearly impossible to not capture some truly stunning shots. The perfect sunset, light ocean breeze, and gorgeous gowns made this sunset maternity photo session just that much more magical.

I love this spot. Especially when working with littles such as Grayson. His endless fit of giggles as he watched the planes zoom overhead from the nearby airport made for some great candid shots! I loved capturing this gorgeous mommy-to-be nestled within the gently rustling grasses that lie just beyond the beach’s sandy shore. The way the light danced off her darling baby bump and highlighted her stunning figure was pure magic.

Being able to provide a variety of in-studio wardrobe options for sessions such as this one is something I pride myself upon. Creating this selection has been a labor of love; but spending hours searching through store after store to find the perfect dress is well worth it when I get to see the fruits of my labor through images as beautiful as this beach-side maternity session. All of these selections are included with all my sessions at no additional charge.

When my clients get excited, I get excited. I love feeding off their energy, it’s what pushes me to continue in my education of this beautiful art form and lights a creative fire in my soul.

It was so precious to hear how excited this family was for their newest little man’s arrival. While he was a complete surprise to them, he is already loved and treasured beyond measure. These two are so excited to watch their sons grow up together, seeing as their sons will be so close in age. It’ll be a lot of work, believe me! But I know they are more than prepared for the beauty of the road that lies before them.
