I am so so excited to announce this awesome partnership with one of THEE most amazing yoga instructor in Tampa. If you have taken a prenatal yoga class in Tampa, you have probably met Amee Joshi. She’s amazing and I can attest to that! While I was pregnant I decide to take some prenatal yoga, I was never fond of yoga prior to pregnancy but Amee changed that for me… I wanted to stay in shape but also help with preparing for birth so I took a class. Little did I know that Amee’s classes would not only help me prepare for birth BUT also help me to connect with my baby before I even met him. My labor and deliver nurse complimented me on my controlled breathing through 16 hours of labor, that was all thanks to yoga with Amee!
I want to help connect mommas to resources and information that will help them during this time in their life. As a former RN I truly believe that education and knowledge is so powerful and thats why Bringing these resources to empower and inform is dear to my heart. When I learned more about Amee and her background I realized we have so much in common, both former health practitioners following our dreams in other fields. Her father is a Neonatologist so my NICU nurse heart connected effortlessly with her background and deep understanding of the human body and motherhood. Now we share a new connection as she becomes a mommy too. I am so excited to be able to partner with Amee to bring other mommas the opportunity and nourish and connect with this baby through prenatal yoga. We will be holding classes free of charge leading up to Amee taking her own maternity leave when she returns we hope to add a 2nd Mommy + Me Yoga class to calendar – so if you already have little one don’t stress we have a plan for you too!
