Carter Lane is a precious baby boy that was welcomed by his parents not to long ago! He is Derrick and Macy’s first baby, and what a blessing it was for them to have such a healthy and sweet son. Working with Derrick, Macy, and Carter as their Tampa Newborn Studio Photographer was so much fun, as they are some of the most kind, dedicated, and sweet people you’d ever meet! I enjoyed every second with them in my studio.

Two Inspiring Parents. One Bright Future.

Derrick is in the military, and what a pleasure it was getting to know him. Being in the military is such a selfless and inspiring position to have. He will be the perfect father and role model to Carter. Macy works in a hair salon, and is amazing at what she does. We love following her in Instagram and seeing what she’s doing, along with her brilliant work. Her hair looked amazing, of course, in the session. Can you say beautiful? It truly is a work of art, and I am so jealous of her gorgeous locks! This couple is adorable, and it was so fun seeing them as new parents. They are so in love with each other, and it was a joy to capture.

Carter was a cutie pie, and slept nearly the entire time. He was as sweet as can be, and I loved hit precious features! He was so cooperative as we changed up his wardrobe and the props. Carter loved the warmth of his parents’ chests as they held him close to their heart. This little boy is loved more than he could ever imagine, and it is so inspiring to see his parents’ happiness shine so bright with him around. Congratulations to the Smit family on their precious baby boy.
