I am so glad that the chance of a little rain didn’t hinder this gorgeous mama from tracking on through her maternity session. We were almost rained out, but thankfully these guys held off just long enough to allow us to get these gorgeous dusky shots. I love dressing my mama’s in neutral, and a soft tones. This gown featuring lace and sheer chiffon was simply stunning. Paired with a blush and ivory floral crown, this mama was the pier image of maternal perfection.

Mom loved this session so much that she opted for a twenty-page heirloom album with cameo image cover in leather, along with a small photo-block wall grouping. Gorgeous!

The Perfect Evening for a Maternity Session

The lighting was absolutely wonderful, streaming in through the tall blades of wispy grass. Just beautiful! When doing maternity shots with siblings, I always make sure to highlight the relationship each parent has with their first born. I can already tell that sweet girl is going to be an absolutely amazing big sister. She is so excited to meet her new best friend. I love that parents take this time to treasure these last few moments of their firstborn’s being an only child. Of course, their family will only grow in love, but the dynamic certainly changes! I can’t wait to meet there a little bundle of joy! What a beautiful family they are.
