This family was just the sweetest – it was truly a pleasure capturing these updated family photos and newborn portraits for them. Sasha and Wade just welcomed their second baby girl, Amelia, on March 21, 2019. I think the name they chose is so beautiful and unique. They explained that Amelia was Wade’s great grandmother’s name – what a sweet legacy she left behind!
Their eldest daughter, Emmerson is just two years old, but she exclaimed that she “loves baby sister so much,” and she is very thankful for “her Amelia.” Sisterly bonds are one-of-a-kind and so very special. Since they will not be far apart in age, I can see a wonderful friendship growing over the years. Even at two, little Emmerson took on her big sister role by carefully wrapping her arms around her baby sister and giving her gentle kisses. Baby Amelia looked so peaceful snoozing by her older sister, and I loved capturing these priceless moments between the two girls.
Sasha is such a radiant mother. Even though she just had her baby girl, you would never know if she’s had sleepless nights. She looked so beautiful and confident as she lovingly held her little girls. And Wade looked like he was over the moon as he snuggled his three lovely ladies close. He has the most genuine, kind personality – he is a phenomenal dad to these little girls. Both have him wrapped around their little fingers, but they are equally enamored with him.
Capturing the close bonds between parents and children is always a top priority in newborn sessions. I also like documenting the love between husband and wife – after all, that’s where the journey began. And Sasha and Wade are such great examples for their girls. As a couple, they are amazing parents, really helping each other out and supporting each other in that blissful yet tiring newborn stage.
Thanks, Artzibushev Family, for letting me capture these moments for you! And welcome home, little Amelia!
