When a precious new family member enters the mix, everything seems to change – for the better. Until that little one’s arrival, you didn’t know anything was missing. But now, even those tiny fingers, toes, and button nose have a way of melting your heart. If your baby already brings this much joy, you can’t wait to watch them grow! Siblings are usually a little hesitant at first – after all, this baby did just come in an steal Mom and Dad’s attention. But it’s only a matter of months before they realize that their friend, playmate, confidante, and fellow conspirator was born. They will be off conquering the world – or at least the backyard – in no time! I had such a fun time being the Avila family’s Newborn Studio Photographer. There is nothing sweeter than spending the day with this precious little one.

The Newest Addition

Charbel Rafael Barakat was born on May 11th of this year to two wonderful parents, Charbel and Daira. He was named after his father who is completely enamored with him. Charbel also has a big sister named Ellie who is 19 months old. She is excited to have him around but is still slowly adjusting to her new baby brother. This is a huge transition for a toddler, but since they’re so close in age, I would imagine that their sibling bond will grow incredibly strong over the years. Pretty soon they will be bouncing down the hallway together. Their dog Abe loves playing with and watching them both – he might develop a new role in the family as sibling mediator in a few months.

When I see two parents as loving as Charbel and Daira, it makes my heart so full. Their little one’s are going to grow up in a home filled with happiness, and I know it’s families like these that spread their joy the most! I could not be happier for this sweet family of four. Congratulations, Avila family!
