I recently got to take photos of sweet baby Claire Ann during her newborn photo session. Mom and Dad are both attorneys and have welcomed their first baby into the world. They have started a photo gallery in her nursery and plan to add to it later, and these photos are a great start!

Mom wanted to start Claire Ann’s gallery with photos that were simple yet elegant. My studio in Tampa is painted in bright white with a window that lets in natural light. It was the perfect setting and exactly what Mom wanted. She maintained that easy grace with Claire Ann’s wardrobe as well. She was wrapped in the most delicate white linen swaddle donning a few different white headbands. Her floral headband is so cute! The headband that has small posies intermixed with pearls is beautiful. It has such a vintage and antique feel to it. 

Claire Ann’s faces were absolutely precious. So much expression! Her curious eyes and lazy grins melt my heart. I loved taking pictures of just her cute little feet. There’s just something about the miniature features of babies that are so sweet. For such a true newborn, umbilical cord and all, she was such an easy baby to work with. While she didn’t sleep through all the pictures, she was content the whole time.

Dad was so at ease with baby Claire Ann. She was perfectly content to just nap right on his chest. Photos with Mom and Dad were so lovely. They had such ease and grace as new parents. They were so easygoing with all the different poses. I love the photo of both of their hands with their wedding bands placed on sweet Claire Ann’s tummy. Welcome to the world, Claire Ann.
