When Mom first contacted me about having her maternity photography session in a field at sunset, I was all in. I couldn’t wait to do this shoot. Sunset offers such beautiful lighting! I knew these photos were going to turn out so well, and Mom and Dad were going to love them. 

St. Pete’s Beach near Tampa is such a beautiful photograph spot! It offers so much in one location. It has picturesque views of the ocean, white sandy beaches, areas of beautiful rocks, and tall wispy rich green grass. Having all of these elements to work with, it’s a one spot wonder.

Mom, Dad, and Big Brother were all donned in varying light shades of white and tan. Big brother’s khaki pants, white shirt, and suspenders were so charming. The picture of him holding the sunflower is so precious! He looks like such a dapper young man. Mom started off by wearing a stunning white lace gown with blush lining that showed through. This was complemented so well by the white sandy beach. Such an elegant feel. Mom changed into a soft blue gown with a slight trail for the next set of photos. The shot of her looking off into the distance with the rocks, sand, and ocean as the background with the sun setting behind her is absolutely breathtaking. I loved being able to capture all those different elements into one amazing photograph.

This family was so fun to take pictures of. They were up for any and all poses I threw their way. Big Brother had such a fun time taking pictures with Mom and Dad as well. He loved getting on Dad’s shoulders and running around in the sand. I loved getting to see how much fun this family had playing with each other, and I know that fun will only grow when they add their next little bundle of joy to the mix.
