When I see all of the newborns that bring so much life and joy to my studio, I can’t help but wonder who they will turn out to be when they’re older. This perfect little sleeping bundle represents so much. Although unable to fully express it, so much personality and uniqueness is waiting to blossom over the next few years. 

Growing your family truly is like a roller coaster, but in the best way possible. Hang with me here (no pun intended). Pregnancy is that long trek up to the top – a time filled with so much anticipation and wonder. You just want to know what’s on the other side. Then, baby is born! You’re at the top and you can see what lies before you…to an extent. You pause there in a sweet time that holds so much potential. It’s a moment to take it all in. As you take off from there, you’re in for a fun, wild ride. You never know what twists and turns you will venture through as a family, but it’s so much fun to experience together. What a joy it is to watch your little one develop and transform from year to year as you guide them through the journey of life.

Kelly is Alison and D’marco’s first child together. This little guy is one of the most snuggly babies I have ever seen. His sweet cheeks looked so soft and perfect, and his skin still has the most adorable wrinkles just a few days after his birth. Even my studio sessions have a lifestyle feel to them. As they spent time relaxing and just enjoying this time as a new family of three, I captured the magic as it unfolded. 

When you do a session with me, I guide you into comfortable sets with minimal posing so that you feel and look as natural as possible. I want to give you authentic photos of those first few weeks together. Alison and D’marco couldn’t stop looking at their precious baby boy – understandably! He absolutely loves to sleep, so their session was such a breeze. They all did amazing, and I love how these newborn and family photos turned out! Enjoy!
