Mom and Dad met at Tampa General Hospital. Fast forward and now they’re married and have welcomed their first baby into the world. I was able to photograph the Grimes family for Phoebe’s newborn photo session. They were such a lovely family to photograph. Baby Phoebe was such a great baby to photograph. She slept throughout the whole session except for some pictures with Mom and Dad. She was looking up at them with curiosity as Mom and Dad were looking down at her with love and adoration. 

Mom, Dad, and Phoebe were all donned in wardrobes of white. This helped keep with the theme of natural light. I just love that my studio in Tampa creates the perfect atmosphere for these types of photo session, simple yet elegant. The white room and natural light that comes in from the window is the perfect backdrop. I was really excited to get to shoot such a clean and crisp session.

Phoebe was wrapped in the sweetest white linen swaddle. She looked like such a little bundle of love! Her little hands were absolutely precious. Whether they were folded underneath her head as she was napping, raised above her head in a big stretch, or resting on her tummy, her sweet little hands added the perfect tenderness to her pictures. 

Mom’s long dress was absolutely stunning. It was so elegant and feminine; adding the perfect touch to the family pictures of this newborn session.  It was so fun getting pictures of Baby Phoebe with Mom and Dad individually. I felt like I could see the individual relationships they are starting to have with her. Mom was glowing and all grins, while Dad was more tender and warm. I look forward to seeing their relationships grow with Baby Phoebe as they continue to love on her. Welcome to the world, Phoebe!
