I don’t care about drool, shredding hair, or water bowl splatter – I love dogs in the studio! Almost as much as I love babies and that’s saying something.

Furry family members are such a joy to have in our lives! They make every day that much more memorable and fun. I’m always talking about documenting your family’s milestones and how fast time can fly by for your kids. It flies even faster for your dogs! I recommend pets in every session if I can make it work.

They’re a part of the pack! Getting to document the way your child lights up at the sight of them makes the session all the sweeter. Before my dog passed away we had him in every family photo. He had been growing alongside me for 10 years before I had my children and then I got to watch him join in alongside them as our family unit grew. It’s so wonderful to be able to have him in our albums and framed on our walls. I get to point him out to my kids as they grow and tell them all about him! Now, at times it was stressful – as any session with an animal can be! But, the stress was momentary while the pictures now last a life time!

I can say for certain we will never regret having these balls of love preserved in our photos! Sometimes my clients even get their dog’s hair all pretty for the photos as well! Furry family members love us unconditionally and preserving that loving look in their eyes is truly one of the best parts of my job.
