I cannot even begin to tell you how much I adore this sweet family. They are beautiful inside and out, the perfect mix of playful and sweet and you can just feel the connection and love they have for one another. We did a family session at sunset at St. Pete beach and you can see it in their photos. That’s the exact feeling I hope they connect to every time they see their family portraits!
This month, we’re honoring Dads and a big part of why this family is who they are is because of their Dad. He’s loyal, hardworking and absolutely adores his children and wife. Together, they have fostered children and most recently adopted their son. Their youngest daughter also recently went through heart surgery. So to be able to come together and document them as a family of five in this season of life was such an honor.
When I asked Rachel what she adored most about her husband as a father, she said, “I love that he will always stop what he is doing to get down on their level and just be a kid right along with them!” I witnessed that first-hand during their family session. He was so genuinely playful with the kids and you could just tell how much they all loved it. And his kids echoed that! They said their favorite thing about their Daddy was when he pushes them on the swing.” I can only imagine how sweet the memories are they create as a family!
Happy Father’s Day to you, Evan!
We thought it would be fun to do a little Q&A with Dad too!
When Emmie (oldest daughter) shakes her booty.”
We have so many kids.”
She was organized and in control.”
This is our goal! All we want is for you to show up and we’ll take care of the rest! Your only job is to be yourself and have the best time with your family!
As much as we focus on serving and having photos with Mom, I know how important it is as a child to have a photo of your Dad. I’ve made it a point during sessions recently to get a photo of just him.
If you’re interested in a sunset family session at St. Pete Beach, contact me! I take a limited number of sunset sessions each month and even more limited on the beach.
