The countdown to apply for LTL – round 5 is on, and I could not be more excited! This may be the most anticipated launch yet! So, as you prepare to apply (applications open December 5th!), I wanted to answer some FAQs about Leveraging to Luxury.
No, there is nothing related to framing. Over the course of 12 weeks, I teach business, pricing strategy, marketing, and the salesroom. I do not teach the creative aspects of framing design or how to go about installing frames. That is taught in our upcoming Spring 2022 course- Storywall Systems.
Like with anything, those who do the work, see results. Results will vary based on when you start to implement what you’ve learned. Most students who complete the action steps within the program start to see results within 4 months and long-term growth within 8 months.
Note, the people who begin implementing during the program, tend to see results before the program even ends. This will vary depending on where you are at in your business (ie. already doing in-person sales vs being brand new), location, current client base, etc.
My approach to everything that I do within LTL is based on SERVING. Clients never purchase anything they do not want. There are no packages they are forced into. My processes are fully transparent and I do not hide anything as “sales tactics.” Plain and simple, my clients purchase what they want. I simply serve them in the process.
Additionally, we work through a lot of mindset and your perception of your value, what it is that you offer, and why what you offer is not selling but rather serving.
While the LTL model is built on serving clients FULLY, we understand that installation can be incredibly intimidating for photographers. During our program, we’ll talk out ways to serve your clients fully while still being comfortable with what you’re doing.
So, the short answer is no, you don’t have to install. You can hire this part out. However, I’ll say that most find it to be a lot less intimidating than they thought. It can also benefit your business greatly to be able to install, show behind the scenes of the process, and photograph the end result.
I would not let the “fear of installation” hold you back.
On average, students invest 6-8 hours a week in the program with 2 hours being the live classes. While you have lifetime access to the content, we have found that the students that begin to do the work while in the active 12 weeks, begin seeing results and have the greatest success because they have me and the other students to lean on in the process.
Yes! I’ve coached photographers around the world (France, Germany, and Canada). Everything I teach is applicable to any portrait photography business. Small towns to big cities!
Having implemented different strategies in my business both alone with a coach 1:1 and also in a group setting, I found that I had the most motivation and success when being able to lean on others implementing the same things in the process. Group feedback is so helpful. It’s one thing to have a coach cheer you to the finish line, but another for your peers to. Everyone wants you to succeed, and there’s a lot of good that can come from that!
That being said, knowing how successful group coaching is, if you aren’t interested in having fellow photographers support you and give you feedback (and CC) and willing to do the same, or looking for more 1:1 coaching, LTL will not be the best fit for you.
Applications open December 5 and will go out to those on the LTL newsletter list – sign up HERE!
