Can you ever give back enough? In my heart the answer is no. There is always room for more giving and as a former registered nurse serving others has been deeply rooted to my core values. From working as a volunteer to sharing my skills as photographer, I believe that giving back is one of my greatest purposes. I have traveled as far as Africa to help others and continually volunteer in our community as photographer and volunteer for the Junior League of Tampa.

Giving Back

can you ever give back enough?

As a former Neonatal Intensive Care Unit Nurse (NICU) this organization is so dear to my heart. In 2018 I committed to donating $10 of every session to HRH. Helping to support mothers and families experiencing high risk pregnancies that often result in extended hospitalization and NICU admission. Read Brittany’s guest blog post for High Risk hope sharing her knowledge and experience with lactation as Certified Lactation Consoler with NICU mothers here in a blog post.

As an active member of the Junior League of Tampa, I have been giving of my time to community projects serving underprivileged children while helping to build the potential of women in our community through mentorship within the organization.

My grandmother was a English teacher and growing up I was blessed to be surrounded by books unlike so many children in our community. After loosing my grandmother and learning more about our communities need for books I started my own Little Free Library to support the need for improving children’s literacy and access to books. I regularly visit other library to disperse many of our donated books to other libraries in our area. We always have a need for books and gladly accept book donations at our studio at any time.
