Extended Family or Grandparent portrait sessions are a personal favorite of mine. They happen so rarely that I truly treasure it when someone books them.
I know what you’re thinking; “But my parents are only in town for a short time! Can we really schedule a photo session?” To that, I say: with a little preparation anything is possible! You more often than not know exactly what month your parents are coming for a visit. Reach out to me the second you know and we can get you on the books!
You won’t regret it. I adore all the photos my children have together with my parents. And my photo-loving parents adore them as well! Pamper grandma for a day, get her makeup done, and let her wear a beautiful dress as she plays with her grandchildren. That natural happiness always shows in photos! Plus, we are happy to ship your photos to your parent’s home for them.
I have been photographing the various families shown in these photos for several years but it was only until the 4th or 5th session with me that they decided to bring their in-laws along. I would love to say that my insistence on how awesome grandparents’ sessions are was what got them to book (who knows maybe it was?). But, more often than not were as protective over our parents as we are with our children. Time with them is so precious and you don’t want to waste a photo session with them on a photographer you don’t trust.
I am happy and honored to say these wonderful families trust me enough to help preserve these special memories! One of the best ways to do that is with an heirloom album. We also offer mini albums that match almost exactly to their companions. They make the perfect gift for grandparents on any holiday or just because!
Plus, they’ll be the talk of the town with a beautiful gallery wall in their home to point at as a they brag about their beautiful grandchildren!
