When I opened my very first newborn studio in Tampa, I dreamt of moments like these. Although, it may not be what you expect. Of course, I love snuggling your babies, but what I truly love is getting to watch your family grow. From first-time parents expecting your first to arms full with three boys! It’s truly been such an honor to document each new baby Kristin and Ryan have welcomed into their family!

Photographing the Bond Between Siblings

There was also something really exciting about photographing this session in particular. I was pregnant with Chloe at the time and constantly trying to envision what our life would look like with three children. Seeing three siblings right in front of me, similar in age to my children, gave me a glimpse into what life would be like.

Fast forward a few months and she’s here. Yes, it’s a little (okay, maybe more than a little) chaotic, but there are many more moments that are so unbelievably sweet. I love seeing how they are when all three are together and how each relationship is just a little bit different, and I am so grateful for the memories we have frozen in photographs.

I touched on this back when I photographed Brayden’s newborn session, but I love documenting those early days. When there are siblings involved, it’s not just about the baby and their sweet little details. Yes, we document that too. However, so much of it’s about documenting the start of that bond- their connection and love that is already so strong.

Logan’s Newborn Session

Logan could not have been any sweeter for his newborn session. He slept almost the entire time and loved to snuggle up to whichever family member wanted to hold him! The way he has his hands curled up by his face gets me every time. We took their first family portraits as a family of five, as well as just baby, sibling photos, and parent photos!

Mom had her hair and makeup done right here in our newborn studio in Tampa. Then, we picked out wardrobe for the entire family- also right here in the studio. I know what it’s like to have three children. I also know what it’s like to want to feel your best. We take care of all of those details so that you can focus on settling into your new family dynamic and creating memories together!
