What I would do for lashed like these! I’m a little jealous of this handsome man. But oh, what a joy it was to have him in the studio! Sweet Jaxon is Victoria and Aaron’s first child together, and none of us can believe he is almost one year old now.

I love that they are making it a priority to update their family photos, especially during this early childhood stage when each month seems to bring another inch and so many new skills. Taking this family’s simplicity session photos was an absolute joy!

Even as first-time parents, they know that time is fleeting. At this in-between age, they wanted to capture just a few photos of their little boy’s smiling face and document his impressive standing and cruising abilities. He will be walking any day now – maybe even on his first birthday…I know cake would motivate me to take my first steps! 

I’m in love with their Simplicity Session. It has everything it needs and nothing more: detail shots, new skills, mom & me, and family of three. Precious.

Their wardrobe couldn’t have been more perfect for these bright and intimate photos. Baby Jaxon wore a neutral-colored romper, Victoria looked lovely in her white-lace dress, and Aaron stuck to a white shirt and khakis.

They looked great, and their outfits did not detract from their facial expressions and closeness that I wanted to capture. The three of them are so close, their love just lights up the space around them.
