Paswater Newborn Session
It’s true. As a photographer, I get so attached to my families. There’s just something special and a little intimate about photographing someone as you try to capture their personalities and unique beauty they bring into the world. No matter how many families and babies I photograph throughout the year, each is as loved as the next. They all hold a special place in my heart.
So, it makes sense that I always enjoy having repeat families. It makes my day to reconnect with them and hear all of the funny and amazing stories that have happened since we last saw each other. And with kids, the stories are endless! I really think this is the most interesting and entertaining job in the world. It certainly doesn’t feel like a job.
Lexie and Ben Paswater just welcomed their second baby girl, Lunah Soleil Paswater, into the world on June 21, 2019. They already have a three-year-old daughter, so I couldn’t wait to see how much her little (or big) personality has developed. Three year olds say some of the funniest things!
I absolutely love the meaningful names they chose for their girls: the oldest is named Raylah after the sun. And they named the brand-new daughter Lunah after the moon. Her middle name “Soleil” comes from her birthday being the same day as the summer solstice. They sound so beautiful together, and I feel like it might be symbolic of the complementary relationship these two sisters already have. Even as a newborn, Lunah turns a little at the sound of her sister’s voice. Raylah loves her little sister so much and says that she is “her baby” all the time. So sweet! They also have a family dog, a boxer named Maverick, who loves to watch over both girls.
This family is just amazing, and I can’t wait to watch their relationship and personalities develop even more over the years. Welcome home, sweet Lunah!
