Expecting a New Addition

Pregnancy is such a short, yet exciting stage in life. And if you already have a cute kiddo (or several!), you know that the nine-month wait and pregnancy strain is all worth it in the end. Any discomfort you previously felt quickly fades away as you stare into the face of your precious baby. The one you’ve been longing to meet is finally snuggled warmly in your arms! This simplicity maternity session was absolutely stunning – this mama defines what a pregnancy “glow” is all about!

A Mother’s Glow

I love helping mothers and families document that sweet time of eager anticipation. Pregnancy comes with its fair share of challenges, of course, but there’s also incomparable beauty. I want all expecting mothers who walk in my door – whether it’s their first baby or their fifth – to feel comfortable, confident, and radiant. This is your time to shine. It’s also a time to get away from it all and celebrate what your body is doing. Maternity sessions are just as special to me as newborn and first year sessions. They all portray milestones in your family’s story.

Abbey and her two-year-old daughter Peyton are expecting a new addition to their family at the end of August. Peyton is so excited to meet her new little brother or sister! She may be young, but she definitely understands what’s about to happen – at least on some level. She was so cute as she hugged and kissed on Mom’s belly. I know this time must seem like forever to her, but I have a feeling her world will be rocked in just few short weeks. Like most older siblings, it will probably take a little adjusting, but she’ll love helping Mom take care of Baby in those early months. Even better, she’ll have a built-in companion and playmate before she knows it! 

I can’t wait to meet their little bundle of joy and capture sweet moments from their first few weeks together with a new baby.
