Pregnancy is probably THE most remarkable experience I can imagine. Waiting nine months to meet the little human growing inside of you, the little piece of you, can seem like ages. Sure, the ultrasounds give us exciting peeks to pacify us temporarily, but we can’t clearly see his or her features: mom’s button nose, dad’s characteristic dimple, or those soft hands we have been longing to hold. The wait seems impossible. But then, when we hear that very first cry, a deep sense of love, adoration, and awe washes over us. The wait is over, and our baby is here!

Congrats On the New Arrival!

I can’t wait for the Roman’s to experience that sweet moment. They are such a special couple. Charlsey heard about me from a mutual friend at the Junior League of Tampa, and I couldn’t wait to help the Roman’s fulfill their maternity session vision. She and her husband Justin were looking for a sun-kissed session in a field, and I knew just the spot! As she approached the 30-week mark of pregnancy, we headed out to the golden fields of Cypress Point. The lighting and weather were just right, and she was literally glowing in her portraits. She and Justin looked so in love and eager to meet the little one in a few short weeks.

As Charlsey and I chatted, I asked her how she’s feeling so far with this pregnancy. She responded, “Like a first timer,” but you’d never know by looking at these photos! She looked so calm, peaceful, and radiant throughout the session. I love the way Justin gazed at his amazing wife and her growing bump. I have no doubt that caring for this little one will come so naturally to Charlsey and Justin. Their baby will be covered in love the moment he or she arrives by two of the best parents imaginable!
