This adorable couple are high-school sweethearts. They just welcomed in their first child, a perfectly tiny baby girl, Bernadette. Getting to watch sweet families like this one grow over time is such a sweet treat as a Tampa Newborn Natural Light Studio Photographer. I was lucky enough to capture their maternity session.

We decided on shades of dusty pink and cream to highlight her delicate features. I loved to see how much she smiled throguhout the whole newborn session. So cute! After reviewing their collection (and loving it!) they decided on an 8×8 album with Bernadette’s name on the cover. It makes my heart so happy when my clients order printed work. It shows me that they respect the importance of tangible memories. This is why I do what I do. To provide for my clients a physical memory of one of the sweetest times in their lives.

I’ve always loved hearing people’s love stories. Thanks to my god-parents, I’ve always had a soft spot for high-school sweet hearts. It still makes me laugh to this day when I think back on a story my god-father told me. One day after school in their freshman year (of high school mind you), my god-mother looks over to my god-father who had just lit a cigarette and said, “you better quit that…Imagine what it’ll do to our kids.” At 15 years old! Well, 35 years, two beautiful daughters and 3 grand kids later, he still has never smoked another cigarette!

What a precious little bundle of joy Bernadette was! I loved working with her and her sweet parents for her studio newborn session.
