It’s been a busy few months in the studio for all the best reasons…babies, all the babies! This sweet baby boy is the second baby boy I’ve had the honor of photographing for the Kiermaier family in my Tampa newborn studio. They recently welcomed Krew into their family and trust me when I say, he could not be any cuter.

Two years and ten sessions later with this family. We documented big brothers first year and will be doing the same for baby Krew. I know I talk about it often, but documenting these milestones throughout your baby’s first year is SO important. They grow so incredibly fast, and honestly, I am not sure you even realize it with your first. In fact, I remember it really hitting me once I held both of my kids at the same time. My toddler suddenly felt like a giant and I knew that the baby in my arms would not keep for long.

Whatever you do, do not let this season pass you by without prioritizing photos. One day, the memories will fade and you’ll want those tangible reminders. 

Kiermaier Newborn Session

We started the Kiermaier newborns session off with family photos. Krew slept through it all and as always, Karter gave me all the smiles. He is as silly as he is sweet and already such a good big brother. Krew has a headful of dark hair and already showing his personality with some eyebrow raises! And no matter how many hundreds of babies I’ve photographed and cared for, their little details will always be something that amazes me.

After a lot of snuggles and the most adorable sibling photos you’ve ever seen, it was time for Krew’s individual newborn portraits. He slept through most of them and even gave me the best little smile at the end. Then, to keep with tradition, we recreated a jersey photo that we also took during his big brother’s newborn session. I know this is a photo they will both cherish for years to come.
