A Smile-Filled Simplicity Family Session

Have you ever seen cuter smiles than these?! Emily and Colin have two beautiful little girls, Everly and Sadie. They wanted a bright and cheerful Simplicity Family Session to capture this sweet time in their lives when their girls are in the very early years of childhood. 

These sisters, although young, are clearly incredibly close. When I asked Mom about their relationship, she quickly responded with a smile, “Everly LOVES her little sister and is constantly trying to hold and cuddle Sadie.” And Sadie doesn’t seem to mind a bit! At least not while she was in the studio.

As they grow older, I’m sure they’ll have their share of sisterly squabbles, but judging by their immediate bonding soon after Sadie was born, they’ll probably find that there’s no one better to share secrets, laughter, and adventures with.

There’s just nothing quite like sisterhood. It makes me so happy to watch them share these early years together. Being so close in age, they’ll never remember a time when the other wasn’t around – a constant companion.

This whole family was so easy to photograph: the portraits, the candid shots, the sibling photos – all of it! Doesn’t Emily’s dress look amazing on her?! They’re all super photogenic and fell into a natural groove together. 

The girls completely adore their dad, and he loves spinning them in circles and flying them high through the air. Of course, it’s always followed by the warmest kind of hug only a father could give. Together, the four of them are just adorable. Even with two little ones, this session was all smiles and very little fussing!

Baby Sadie was content playing on the blankets, nursing and snuggling with mom, and just looking around. Meanwhile, Everly liked being the star of the show as she spun and danced her way across the studio. I enjoyed every minute of it! I was kind of hoping she would offer some dance lessons after the shoot!
