Every time a newborn baby comes into my Tampa studio, I’m amazed all over again at how tiny they are. Such tiny hands and tiny feet and a tiny nose and tiny ears. Everything is just so miniature. I can’t get over how tiny Baby Luke’s features were. I had to grab a photo of his sweet ear. And then I had to get one of his tiny little lips. So, I couldn’t just stop there. I snapped a photo of his his hands splayed across his chest and his cute little feet sticking out of his blanket.
Mom and Dad wanted to go with pictures that featured soft natural light. To go with that theme, they chose wardrobes of white as well. Dad wore a simple white v-neck with light khaki pants. Mom wore a beautiful white dress with stunning lace detail. The lace around the neckline and on the sleeves were so feminine and lovely. Luke’s wardrobe consisted of a delicate white linen swaddle and the most precious crocheted bonnet!
Baby Luke was a sleeping angel the whole time, but he made some of the most adorable facial expressions. The picture of him having a good stretch is just so cute. You can tell how relaxed he was during the session. Pictures with Mom and Dad went so smoothly. Dad had Baby Luke all wrapped up in his swaddle, and he was as snug as a bug. They wanted to include the whole family in the portraits, so Bernie, their fur baby, came onto the scene. He was such a great dog to work with. He was so well behaved and took the most charming pictures with Baby Luke. I love the picture of Bernie lying right next to Luke! I can envision all of the night that Bernie will sleep dutifully next to Luke as he grows up.
