This beautiful family session at Le Meridien in Tampa, FL was so much fun to photograph. Mom and Dad really wanted a classic, urban feel for this session. This was the perfect place to celebrate sweet Mallory turning two, and I think she had just as much fun as I did!

The Le Meridian used to be a Federal courthouse but has since been turned into a boutique hotel. The tall columns and stairs made for a beautiful backdrop and was also fun for Mallory to explore. They laughed, snuggled on on the stairs, and made some really special memories.

Mallory Turns Two!

I have really come to adore this sweet family over the last couple of years. We documented all of Mallory’s first year together and throughout that time discovered that Danielle and I share a love for the Tampa housing market. We’re basically “Zillow-hobbyists” at this point and always text each other our latest finds. But, the most exciting part is that we’ll live really close to each other once we move into our new home!

Danielle and Geoffrey are also just the most genuine people and raising the sweetest little girl. They are so loving, caring, and constantly reminding Mallory how worth and where her beauty lies.

With each session, Danielle has made it a point to wear her hair naturally. She has very curly hair and although she will wear braids from time to time, it’s important to her to not only teach, but to also show Mallory how important it is to embrace her natural beauty. I love that she is teaching her daughter this, and it’s encouraged me to do the same for my girls should they also end up with curly hair like their Momma!

Having curly hair is actually what allowed me the opportunity to meet and work with Danielle! She and I were able to connect through our amazing hair stylist, Adriana with A + M Beauty. If you’re a curly-haired girl, she’s the absolute best in the area.
