What a perfect evening for family photos! For this glowing session, I headed out to my favorite field to capture some family portraits for the Ringhoff family. When they first reached out to me, they let me know that they had never taken professional family photos, and it was about time to make time before the kids got any older. I know the busyness of life can make it difficult, but I am so proud of them for investing in these special memoirs.

Making memories

I think after seeing these photos, they’ll be so glad they took them, especially over the years as the kids grow. They can continuously look back at this fun time they had together—when the kids were running together in the open field without a care in the world—and see how far they’ve come and how much they’ve changed since then. Portraits are a great way to beautifully document all the life that takes place. They freeze time for us so we never forget any of those sweet moments and fun stages.

And this was definitely one of those fun moments: the weather was amazing, the lighting was gorgeous, and the kids were able to explore and play in the fresh air. I think it was the perfect excuse to get out and spend and evening relaxing together as a family, and the photos captured their carefree experience perfectly! They were all naturals in front of the lens. I had a great time out there capturing it all for them! Thank for a wonderful evening, Ringhoff Family!
