It’s one thing for me to talk about Leveraging to Luxury, but another to hear from a student and fellow photographer. Lauri with Winter Freire Photography recently completed the program and is an incredibly talented motherhood and newborn photographer in Dayton, Ohio.

Q: What led you to consider Leveraging to Luxury?

I met Brittany through a motherhood group several years ago, and I have always been impressed with her passion for serving her clients and the ability to get tangible products into their hands. She always made it look so effortless! When I saw that she had started a mentoring course, LTL, I was immediately anxious to learn more from her! I had wanted to sell tangible products to my own clients for many years but had an overwhelming fear that no one would be interested in purchasing luxury products or pay higher prices. I was hoping that Brittany’s course could help me get over this fear, and give me the confidence I was lacking in this area.

Q: I know you were on the fence and really had to think through whether or not LTL was right for your business. Can you share a little bit about that and your thought process, what was holding you back (both in your business and from LTL), and then ultimately made you decide to move forward?

Yes, I had reservations if her course was right for me since I had never sold products or attempted IPS. I had been all-inclusive for 9 years, so making a big change like this was scary. I also was very unsure that anyone in my area would pay higher prices for products, or even be interested in them. I’m also quite indecisive, so there have been many times over the years I was going to make the change to selling products, then chickened out and stuck with all-inclusive since it felt “safe.”

After speaking with Brittany, and hearing about her process and incredible success, I knew I had to make a change or I would be stuck doing the same thing forever. I always felt something was missing in my business, and it became apparent that I needed to start fully serving my clients to feel fulfilled.

Q: How did Leveraging to Luxury help you face those hurdles (or mindset- whatever it may have been for you holding you back) and move past them?

Brittany’s course helped me work through so many of those fears and gave me the confidence to stick with the strategies and new processes. She teaches you how to fully serve your clients and a strategy for pricing, which in turn brings real results. She is there with you EVERY step of the way, supporting you, answering every question, and sending you personal messages, so that you know that you truly matter to her. All of these things brought me incredible confidence to implement my new process and to start actually seeing success with it!
