Ah!! The Brenner family is back for their son’s first birthday pics and I couldn’t be happier. If you missed his newborn portrait session, be sure to follow this link here to reminisce with me! But to give credit where credit is due, I want to speak mostly about how sweet Ethan is growing into a little boy, not a little baby anymore! It’s beautiful and sad all at the same time. Time..oh how it flies!
I love documenting true moments along with classic poses. The way sweet Ethan rested his head on mom and dad’s shoulder is enough to make me melt into a puddle. Simple, yet powerful moments that I want to be tangible forever! I love those classic poses so you can see everyone’s beautiful faces just as they are in that moment. These are also great gifts to give those grandmas, aunts, uncles, and other family members!
The Brenner’s decided to trust my judgment on all things photography session. They used my wardrobe and followed my direction. I picked out organic pieces that have a timeless and classic look. It is my belief that patterns and clothing choices are what dates images, so I tend to stick to timeless silhouettes along with natural and earthy colors- as to not date your images. I want them displayed forever!
Kandice and Adam decided to go with an album and a gallery wall in their home. The album tells their story as a family and I recommend placing it on a coffee table or your sweet built ins and pull it out every year. Or even every month. Reminisce in these fleeting years! That’s what I love about albums.
The gallery wall will be displayed for all of Adam and Kandice’s friends and family to see. This is something that gives me such joy to do for my clients.
If this is the experience you are after, please do get in touch. I would love to hear from you!
