It’s Liam’s first birthday, which calls for a celebration!! Brittany Elise Photography loves to celebrate baby birthdays with a cake smash, so that’s what we did! The Durante family was so fun to work with, and Liam was as cute as can be!

I always like to get the parent’s input on what they visualize for a session. It allows parents to match color schemes to the baby’s room or their home. Liam’s mom wanted a simple cake smash session with soft colors, such as white and gold. In order to meet her vision, we used a white backdrop, a big gold balloon, and a custom cake by Tina’s Cakes in Tampa, FL. Tina did an awesome job of matching the color scheme, using gold stripes down the side of the cake and a custom gold topper. I love the font she used for the word “one.” It was cute, classy, and perfect for Liam’s birthday! He wore a custom romper as well, and it was precious. It was a light brown color with big buttons on the shoulders. So cute!

A Sweet Success

The cake smash was a success, resulting in cake all over Liam. It’s safe to say that he thought Tina’s Cakes are delicious! He had no problem digging in and being messy along the way. He was such a happy baby, smiling, giggling, and playing the whole time. He had a toy care, which he loved! It was so cute to see him in his element. Liam was very cooperative and had no problem changing wardrobes and adapting to my studio. I loved having him here, and it was so refreshing to see him and his momma stress-free and having a good time.

Liam is a bright young boy, and his family is so blessed to have him! I hope to see him grow in the future. Happy birthday, sweet boy!
