When I look back on my decisions in life, I can’t stop but smile. Making the transition from NICU nurse to Tampa Newborn Photographer was one of the biggest leaps of faith I’ve ever experienced. But as I stop and take stock of my current lot in life, I’m quite the happy camper. Still to this day, this amazing profession I’ve been blessed to be a part of takes my breath away. I still find myself caught off guard by the beauty of an image when I scroll through a collection. Throughout the day, I find my mind wandering to past conversations I’ve had during various sessions. Thinking back to all the friends and families I’ve had the opportunity to meet brings me such incredible joy.

The Kaplani Family’s Classic Session

Newborn and family photography for me is so much more than just adjusting settings and clicking a button. It’s taking the time to appreciate and respect where you are in life, regardless of the situation. We all get caught up in the race of life. Where will I be in 5 years? How can I better provide for my family? But how often do we stop and give thanks for where we are right here, right now, at this very moment. I’d be willing to bet not enough.

That’s exactly what this session was for the Kaplani Family. It was an opportunity to stop and savor the precious moments with their brand new baby girl. They are beyond thrilled at the blessing they’ve been gifted with. I was just as thrilled to provide this classic collection for them to treasure for years to come.
