Tampa Outdoor Family First Birthday Photographer | The C Family

I am thrilled to share this session with you all! The Carswell Family contacted me for the third time to capture their little one’s first birthday session. What a happy day it was! I’ve been lucky enough to photograph this sweet girl’s newborn and six-month shoot. Each time I see her again, I am floored by the growth I see in her development and personality. I love hearing about what she loves to eat, what games she loves to play, and how much joy she’s brought her family in the last months. This time around, she was a bundle of giggles. Oftentimes, it takes little ones of this age a few minutes to warm up to me and my camera. But after a few games of peek-a-boo and a couple tickles, she was ready to rock and roll.

Oh the Places She’ll Go!

For me, this age is one of my favorites. Little personalities are starting to blossom, and the world is their playground. So many adventures and so much learning takes place during this developmentally critical time in their lives. Faces change from squishy newborn to teetering (almost) toddler. Documenting this period of change is so incredibly important, for both parent and baby! For this session, we decided to meet on a bright, sunny day, in a wide open field. There was plenty of room for mom and dad to explore with their princess, which was so much fun to watch. They dressed in clean neutrals, perfect for the setting of our session. When little bit looked up at me with those big blue eyes, my heart absolutely melted. I couldn’t get enough of her infectious giggles and adorable grin.
