LTL Testimony – How I Implemented the LTL Framework in my niche

Jen Imus of Jennifer Imus Photography, specializes in graduating seniors, families, and maternity photography in Tustin, California, is one of my students who was a part of “Leveraging to Luxury” (LTL) —my group coaching mastermind designed specifically for photographers. Jen’s unique focus outside the typical LTL niche provided a valuable opportunity to explore how she skillfully integrated the LTL framework into her photography business. Our conversation highlighted the innovative ways she applied the principles of LTL to elevate her photography venture, offering a fresh perspective on the versatility and effectiveness of the program.

Q: Without sharing the LTL model, how were you able to adapt Brittanys model that works in the maternity newborn business into a model that works in the senior industry?

I haven’t found a direct correlation from Seniors to Motherhood yet, but I am still very much in the beginning stages of making the membership transition with my seniors. (I am also on the cusp of adding Motherhood into my business model). That said, the biggest impact for my Senior clients from LTL is solving the problem that so many of them have with getting finished artwork. So many of them have done senior photography for their older children with nothing to show except digital images. I have been able to capitalize that, serve my clients fully, and create beautiful wall galleries from my session and their past sessions.

Q: How has your confidence changed since going through the program?

I can’t say enough about how much my confidence has bloomed since taking LTL. Before LTL, I was an all-inclusive photographer, shooting for less money than my time was worth, with no real, continuing relationship with my clients. In the 6 months since taking LTL, I have sold $14,000 in artwork, opened a studio location, revamped my website, put solid operations systems in place, and developed such a level of calm around meeting, shooting and serving my clients.

Q: If you could tell any person interested in taking LTL who is on the fence and may be in a different niche than maternity/newborn/family, what would you tell them?

The foundation of LTL is rock solid for any niche of photography on which you focus. The basic principles of figuring out what your time is worth, what you need to make to be profitable, how best to service your client work no matter who you shoot.

Q: Is there anything else you feel would be valuable to share – related to your personal experience?

I signed up for LTL during a time where I felt stuck in my business; After nearly 15 years in business, I knew my business needed a change, but I wasn’t sure where to start. I knew that what I was doing wasn’t fulfilling, it wasn’t giving me the income I wanted, and deep down I knew it wasn’t sustainable.

It turns out, LTL was exactly what I needed.

My approach with my clients has changed; my entire business model has changed. How I look at the future of my business has changed. My business is now something that I’m both proud of and excited about. I know that there is no limit to what I can achieve.

As for Brittany, she is the most generous educator you will encounter. Her level of commitment to her students is beyond impressive. She is as equally invested in you as you are with her program. She gives a framework for LTL that is filled with a crazy amount of resources, materials, recordings, templates, etc. And if it doesn’t exist and you need it, Brittany will find a way to get it to you.

If you’re on the fence, I promise you that you won’t regret it. It is single handedly the best investment I’ve made in my business!
