LTL Testimony – How LTL Is Different Than The Rest – Ash & Anders Photography

It’s one thing for me to talk about Leveraging to Luxury, but another to hear from a student and fellow photographer. Ashley with Ash & Anders Photography completed the program in 2023 and is an incredibly talented family, motherhood, and newborn photographer in Madison and Milwaukee, Michigan. There are an abundance of masterminds, courses, and coaches out there; Ashley has taken other masterminds in the past and shed some light on her experience going through LTL.

Q: How has LTL differed from any other mastermind course you’ve taken in the past? How was the structure, format, content presentation, accountability, feedback different?

Leveraging to Luxury differed greatly from other courses I have taken in the past. Our group worked together at the same time and were always working on the same thing week to week. Other evergreen courses I have taken you work at your own pace and it oftentimes could be frustrating since not everyone in the group was on the same page at the same time. Therefore a lot of questions went unanswered in past courses or there was a lot of confusion.

Secondly, in many of these courses I feel the information was regurgitated and the instructor of these past courses may have taken information from other educators to create their own course. When questions were asked there often was little to no feedback and they could not tell me the “why.” With my style of learning and thinking things through, I need to know the “why” behind what I am doing otherwise I am not able to successfully implement these business practices. When I don’t have the meaning behind something it just does not resonate with me; and therefore I cannot stand behind a business model or product in order to genuinely believe in the product I am selling to a client.

With Brittany you learn the why behind what you are doing as well as all the ins and outs of a successful IPS business model. I appreciate that we had consistent group calls, we were all working on the same thing at the same time, Brittany was readily available to answer questions and there was accountability not only from Brittany but our pods and entire group.

Q: If you could give advice to someone considering another program, why should they consider taking LTL instead of other programs?

Brittany genuinely cares about the success of her students, she gives you the necessary tools to be successful; she is a great support to help you get to where you need to be. She is the OG and one of the most successful IPS photographers in the country. Why pay for a course with regurgitated information when you can be taught by one of the originals who is still practicing her current business model that is continually growing more and more successful every year?

Considering I have taken a very similar course to Brittany’s, I have to say that I equate it to almost taking credits from an unaccredited college versus taking credits from an accredited college. Oftentimes when seeking a degree from an unaccredited college, you may never (unlikely) be able to actually practice in your field or find a job where as with an accredited college there are guidelines in place to make sure you are set up with success with an actual degree you can practice with. I know people this has actually happened to, they paid thousands to only find out that they cannot practice in their field. They didn’t do the necessary homework to ensure their college was accredited. Why pay for education you can’t use or implement? If there was such a thing as accredited photography courses, Brittany’s would Harvard!

Q: Is there anything else you feel would be valuable to share – related to your personal experience? Is there anything about Brittany that sets her apart from other coaches or how the program has impacted your confidence.

Brittany is genuine, that is hard to come by. She wants success for all of her students and goes the extra mile to offer support and helps to answer questions when help is needed. I’ve met Brittany in person and it’s fascinating to hear her talk about business, the gears in her mind are always turning and she’s always thinking about what’s next. She is one of the smartest businesswomen I have ever met and have had the opportunity to learn from! I’m eager to see what education she offers in the future because I know it will always help me also get ahead in my business!

It’s still hard to believe the sales I am having, as a midwesterner I fully believed there were no ideal clients in my area and I was so wrong. I went from feeling sick/embarrassed/anxious telling potential clients my pricing, my voice would literally shake and now I say them with ease and confidence because I know that I have clients and people out there who value what I do! I am thankful for this course and for Brittany! Brittany is a gift to the world of photography and business education!

I cannot even begin to tell you how proud I am of Ashley. She did the work and she is seeing the results. YOU are capable of doing it too.
